Hello, welcome to module eight. I think I've got the black eye covered as much as I possibly can. If you were watching one of the other modules, I mentioned that I fell and I have a black eye, so I'm getting better at my makeup and I felt that this module was super important. I might do the next last two modules without seeing my face, but overcoming resistance is something that I struggle with myself.

Speaker 1:

A lot of people talk about imposter syndrome, but that self-talk right here is what holds you back. You have to get out of your way so that you can actually manifest what you want. And I know there's a fan going up above. You just have to live with it, I'm sorry. And so resistance actually shows up as fear, right? So how many times you've been doing your hair, putting on your makeup and you're like I have all of this stuff to do and I have to meet payroll, right? So these are fear, doubt, procrastination or self-sabotage. I know quite a few relatives who self-sabotage. You'd be surprised. They are million-dollar producers, regardless of what year it is, they'll produce, they'll do a volume of million dollars, two million dollars, five million dollars. They're broke by the end of the year. Every single year they self-sabotage, no matter what. So it's this whole dynamic of that internal dialogue in your head. That's why I like for you to write out what your mantras are.

Speaker 1:

The more you write, the better you become and the easier it is to achieve what you're looking for. So, instead of ignoring it, acknowledge it, like I can totally tell when I feel so. Sometimes I have to go out wandering in the forest or for a walk, if it's the, if the weather permitted, right so. And you have to ask yourself what you're afraid of. I'm looking at my notes, right so? And you have to ask yourself what you're afraid of. I'm looking at my notes.

Speaker 1:

Is this story true or it's just old programming? We are pre-programmed from our parents. I don't care what they say, you can have the best parents, you can have the worst parents, but we're pre-programmed from those experiences. So you have to work on yourself to try to make sure that those work in your favor. And it takes practice to not be, to not like push the button right. How many times have our brothers and sisters just knew what buttons to push and just did it intentionally, just to get a response right. Don't do that, don't do that, don't do that, don't do that. Don't do that, right. And my brother used to just like torment me. He's no longer around, but I remember those times when we were kids and he would just torment me and torment me. So you need to replace it with a new perspective.

Speaker 1:

And there is a resistance worksheet. What resistance do I feel right now? You write it out. What fear is underneath that resistance? Write it out. And what's a more powerful or empowering belief, right? Is it beneficial for me to stay in my old patterns or is it more beneficial for me to take a step and move forward, because we know that universe likes action, right? So those are the three things I'd work on for this module and I'll see you in the next one.
